Baked Ham En Casserole
|Cooked boneless ham||5 Pound|
|Sherry||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Honey||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Brown sugar||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Grated orange rind||1 Teaspoon|
|Sweet mixed pickles||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
Place ham in 2 1/2-quart shallow casserole.
If ham is canned, scrape off gelatin first to remove excess salt flavor.
If ham is not fully-cooked, allow longer cooking time as directed on meat package.
Combine Sherry, honey, brown sugar, and orange rind; pour over ham.
Bake in slow oven, (325°F.), for 40 to 45 minutes, basting once.
Baste again and pour pickles over top.
Continue baking for 20 to 30 minutes or until ham is heated thoroughly.
