Roast Fresh Ham

Ingredients
  Boned ham 10 Pound
  Salt 1 Teaspoon
  Pepper 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Onion 2 Cup (32 tbs)
  Onion 2 Cup (32 tbs), sliced
  Canned chicken broth 10 3⁄4 Ounce
  Canned crushed pineapple 1 Can (10 oz)
  Honey 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Cinnamon 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Ginger 1⁄8 Teaspoon
  Flour 6 Tablespoon
Directions

MAKING
1) Using damp towels wipe the ham
2) Using the knife, remove the skin and the excess fat off from the ham
3) Season the ham with salt and pepper
4) In a open roasting pan, place the ham, fat side up
5) Roast in the preheated oven for 1 ½ hours at 375F and then take out from the oven
6) Drain the drippings from the roasting pan
7) Arrange the onion slices around the ham, empty the canned chicken broth onto the roasting pan
8) Insert a meat thermometer into the meat and cover the ham with aluminum foil
9) Roast the ham for an additional 2 hours at 350F
10) Take the ham oven out from the oven
11) In a small bowl combine the pineapple, honey, cinnamon, ginger
12) Spread the mixture over the ham
13) Roast the ham back in the oven for 45 minutes till the thermometer records a 185F
14) Take out the ham onto a serving platter
15) Drain and measure 4 cups of the fat and then skim off the excess from the top
16) Into a saucepan add the 4 cups of the liquid and add in ¼ cup of the flour
17) Stir continuously and simmer for about 3 minutes and serve with the ham

SERVING
18) Serve warm
