Escalloped Potatoes And Ham
|Potatoes||12 Medium, scrubbed and sliced thin to make about 2 quarts|
|Onions||2 Medium, finely chopped|
|Cooked ham||1⁄2 Pound, cut in small thin slices (Left-Over Baked Ham Would Be Ideal)|
|Basic white sauce||4 Cup (64 tbs)|
|Celery salt||1 Teaspoon|
Make white sauce and add celery salt.
Arrange layers of potatoes in Dutch Oven alternately with onion, ham and white sauce.
Salt each layer of potatoes.
Cover and place over medium-high heat until valve clicks (3 to 5 minutes).
Then reduce heat to low and simmer until potatoes are tenderâ€”about 1 1/2 hours.
