Apricot Ham Steak

Ingredients
  Ham slice 1 1⁄2 Pound, cut in to chunks
  Ham slice 1 1⁄2 Pound, cut 2 inches thick
  Whole cloves 1 Teaspoon
  Brown sugar 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs), firmly packed
  Apricots 16 Ounce, peeled
  Canned whole apricots 16 Ounce, peeled (1 Can)
Directions

GETTING READY
1. Preheat oven to 325 °F.

MAKING
2. Around the slice of ham remove any fat, place in a shallow baking pan, sprinkle with sugar and stud the side with cloves.
3. Over a bowl drain the apricot juice and pour 1/3 cup of the juice over the ham.
4. Basting often with the juice in the pan, bake for 1 hour.

FINALIZING
5. On top of the ham, arrange the drained apricots, bake for 15 minutes longer such that richly glazed.

SERVING
6. Serve hot.
