|Ground cooked ham||1⁄2 Pound|
|Quick cooking rolled oats||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Chili sauce||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Onion||2 Tablespoon, chopped|
|Green bell pepper||2 Tablespoon, chopped|
|Brown sugar||1 Tablespoon|
|Dry mustard||1⁄4 Teaspoon|
1 In a medium bowl, thoroughly mix ham, pork, egg, oats, 1/4 cup chili sauce, onion, green pepper and 1/2 teaspoon dry mustard.
2 Press into a ring in a 10-inch pie plate.
3 Place a custard cup in the center of pie plate.
4 Shape ring so meat does not touch sides of dish or cup.
5 Cover with waxed paper.
6 Microwave at 100% (HIGH) for 5 minutes.
7 Combine 1/4 cup chili sauce, brown sugar and 1/4 teaspoon mustard.
8 Spread over ring, coating entire top and sides.
9 Give dish a half turn.
10 Microwave at 30% (MEDIUM LOW)for 9 to 10 minutes.
11 Cover with foil and let stand for 5 minutes.
12 A microwave meat thermometer inserted in center of ring should register 170 degrees farenheit (75 C).
13 Serve hot.
