Veal Chops With Ham And Cheese

Ingredients
  Veal chops 4 , trimmed
  Salt To Taste
  Freshly ground black pepper 1
  Flour 1 Ounce
  Egg 2 , beaten
  Fine dried breadcrumbs 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Butter 2 Ounce (50 Gram Or 1/2 Stick)
  Thin ham slices 4 (Preferably Prosciutto)
  Fontina cheese slices 4
Directions

Lightly pound veal chops, and season with salt and pepper.
Dust with flour, then dip into beaten egg.
Coat each chop generously with breadcrumbs.
Heat butter in a large frying pan, and cook chops until they are golden brown on both sides.
Transfer to a heatproof dish, and lay a piece of ham and a slice of cheese on each.
Place dish under a hot grill, and cook until cheese begins to melt and bubble.
Serve immediately.
