Ham And Squash Skillet

Ingredients
  Cooked ham 1 Pound, ground
  Egg 1
  Soft bread crumbs 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Finely chopped onion 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Prepared mustard 2 Tablespoon
  Acorn squash 1 Medium, cut in 5 rings
  Brown sugar 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Soft butter 2 Tablespoon
Directions

Combine first 5 ingredients; form in 5 patties; brown lightly in hot fat; remove.
Halve squash rings.
Add to skillet: season.
Add 2 to 3 tablespoons water.
Combine brown sugar and butter; dot over squash.
Cover, cook till squash is tender, 20 minutes; turn once.
Uncover, add meat, and cook 5 minutes, basting often.
