Ham Steaks With Glazed Apples
|Red apples||2 , quartered, sliced|
|Brown sugar||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Golden syrup||2 Tablespoon|
|Lemon juice||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Grated lemon rind||1 Teaspoon|
|Canned apple juice||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
Heat butter in pan, add apple slices, cook quickly until lightly browned, remove from pan.
Add sugar, syrup and lemon juice to remaining butter in pan, stir without boiling until sugar is dissolved.
Add lemon rind, apple juice and brandy, boil few minutes or until sauce is thick.
Barbecue ham steaks until heated through, top with apple slices, then hot sauce.
