Ham In A Blanket

Ingredients
  Ham 5 Pound, canned
  All purpose flour 2 Cup (32 tbs)
  Salt 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Butter 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Cooking oil 3 Tablespoon
  Egg 1
  Ice water 2 Tablespoon
Directions

Heat ham in 325° oven for about 1 hour.
Meanwhile, mix together flour and salt; cut in butter.
Lightly beat together cooking oil and egg.
Blend into flour mixture.
Stir in ice water till dough forms a ball.
Wrap in waxed paper; refrigerate 1 hour.
Remove ham from oven and allow to cool slightly.
Roll chilled dough to a 12xl6-inch rectangle about 1/4 inch thick.
Wrap dough around ham, tucking edges under and trimming away excess pastry.
Place ham on a baking sheet; pierce pastry with fork tines.
Bake in 425° oven for 15 minutes; remove from oven and trim with pastry "daisies." Then return to oven for 10 to 15 minutes more or till light golden, brown.
