Baked Ham Steak
|Fully cooked ham steak||1 Pound (About 1/2 Inch Thick)|
|Lemon juice||3 Tablespoon|
|Firmly packed light brown sugar||1 Tablespoon|
|Curry powder||1⁄4 Teaspoon|
|Spicy brown mustard||1⁄2 Teaspoon (Prepared)|
|Butter/Margarine||2 Tablespoon, softened|
1. Preheat the oven to 375°F. Place the ham steak in a nonaluminum 9"x 9"x 2" buttered baking dish and set aside. In a small saucepan, combine the lemon juice, sugar, curry powder, and mustard. Bring the mixture to a boil and pour over the ham. Let the ham marinate, uncovered, for 20 minutes at room temperature.
2. Bake the ham, uncovered, for 20 minutes, or until bubbly. Remove the ham to a warm platter. Add the butter to the juices in the baking dish and stir until blended. Pour the sauce over the ham, and serve with winter squash.
