Ham Steaks With Artichoke Puree

Ingredients
  Ham steaks 1 (4.5 Inch)
  Unsalted butter 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs), melted
For artichoke puree
  Canned artichoke hearts 8
  Lemon 1⁄2 , juiced
  Creamy mashed potatoes 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Pistachio butter/1 tablespoon finely chopped pistachio nuts 1 Tablespoon
  Salt 1 Pinch
  Freshly ground black pepper To Taste
  Nutmeg 1 Pinch
Directions

To make the puree, place artichoke hearts, lemon juice, mashed potatoes, pistachio butter, salt, black pepper and nutmeg in a blender or food processor.
Process until pureed.
Transfer to a small saucepan and place over low heat while ham is cooking.
Brush the ham with melted butter and grill over medium-hot coals until heated and cooked through.
About 2 to 3 minutes each side should be sufficient.
