Ham Steak With Apples And Cranberries
|Apple juice||2⁄3 Cup (10.67 tbs)|
|Packed brown sugar||1 Tablespoon|
|Freshly squeezed lemon juice||2 Teaspoon|
|Dijon mustard||1 1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Cornstarch||1 1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Ham steak||1 Pound, trimmed and cut into 4 portions|
|Green onions||2 , chopped|
|Apple||1 , peeled, cored and diced|
|Dried cranberries/Dried raisins||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
1. In a glass measure, combine apple cider, brown sugar, lemon juice, mustard and cornstarch until smooth.
2. In a large nonstick skillet, heat butter over medium-high heat; brown ham on both sides. Remove to a plate.
3. Reduce heat to medium. Add green onions, apple and cranberries to skillet; cook, stirring, for 2 minutes or until softened. Add cider mixture; cook, stirring, until sauce thickens. Return ham to skillet; cook for 1 to 2 minutes or until heated through.
