Apple Ham Slice

Ingredients
  Butter/Margarine 2 Tablespoon
  Fully cooked ham slices 2 Pound, cut 1 inch thick and trimmed of fat (1 Piece)
  Sliced green onions 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Apple juice/Apple cider 3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)
  Ground cinnamon 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Cornstarch 1 Tablespoon
  Cold water 1 Tablespoon
  Apples 2 Medium
  Raisins 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
Directions

In large skillet melt butter.
Brown ham on both sides in butter; remove from skillet.
Cook onion in butter till tender.
Stir in apple juice and cinnamon; bring to boiling.
Combine cornstarch and water; stir into apple juice mixture.
Cook and stir till thickened and bubbly Return ham to skillet.
Cover; simmer for 10 minutes.
Peel, core, and slice apples.
Place apple slices atop ham and add raisins to skillet.
Cook, covered, 5 to 7 minutes more or till apples are just tender.
Transfer ham to warm platter; spoon some sauce and fruit atop.
Pass remaining sauce.
