Place ham fat side down on an inverted saucer or on a microwave roasting rack in (12 x 8-inch) utility dish. (Do not cover).
Microwave on medium for half the roasting time.
Turn ham fat side up.
Brush with glaze and stud with cloves, if desired.
Microwave on medium for remaining time, or until internal temperature registers 140°F to 150°F.
Let stand 15 minutes, tented with aluminum foil, shiny side in. (Temperature will rise 10 degrees during standing.)
