Potato Apple And Ham Skillet
|Loosely packed frozen diced hash brown potatoes with onion and peppers||3 Cup (48 tbs), thawed|
|Red apple||1 Large, cored and chopped|
|Onion||1 Small, chopped|
|Dried sage||1 Teaspoon, crushed|
|Diced cooked ham||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Fat free milk||1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)|
|Refrigerated egg product/4 eggs||1 Cup (16 tbs), thawed (Or Frozen)|
|Shredded reduced fat cheddar cheese||2 Ounce (1/2 Cup)|
Press thawed potatoes between paper towels to remove moisture; set aside.
In a 10-inch -ovenproof skillet combine apple, onion, water, and sage.
Bring to boiling; reduce heat to medium.
Cook, uncovered, until onion is tender.
Remove from heat.
Stir in potatoes and ham.
In a medium bowl combine milk, egg product, cheese, and salt.
Pour into skillet 'over potato mixture.
Do not stir.
Bake in a 350Â° oven for 30 to 35 minutes or just until center appears set.
