Baked Ham With Sweet And Spicy Glaze
|Smoked ham half||8 Pound (bone in)|
|Sweet and spicy glaze||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs) (adjust quantity as needed)|
Preheat oven to 325°F.
Place ham, fat side up, on rack in roasting pan.
Insert meat thermometer with bulb in thickest part away from fat or bone.
Roast ham in oven about 3 hours.
Prepare Sweet and Spicy Glaze.
Remove ham from oven; do not turn oven off.
Generously brush glaze over ham; return to oven 30 minutes longer or until meat thermometer registers internal temperature of 160°F.
Remove ham from oven and brush with glaze.
Let ham stand about 20 minutes before slicing.
