|Shortcrust pastry||1 Pound|
|Cooked ham||3 Cup (48 tbs), diced|
|Chili peppers||2 Tablespoon, finely chopped|
|Onion||3 Tablespoon, chopped|
|Cream of mushroom soup||1 Can (10 oz)|
|Poppy seeds/Sesame seeds||1 Tablespoon|
Preheat oven to 400 °F (205 °C).
In a small bowl, mix egg and water.
With a rolling pin, flatten pastry.
Cut into 5 inch (12.5 cm) rounds.
In a bowl, mix remaining ingredients, except poppy seeds.
In the middle of each pastry round, place 3 tbsp (45 mL) ham mixture.
Fold into half moons.
With a fork, seal turnovers.
Make small vents on top.
Brush with beaten egg.
Sprinkle with poppy seeds.
Bake in oven 15-20 minutes or until turnovers are golden brown.
