Ham And Fruit Strata

Ingredients
  Cubed firm textured bread 2 1⁄2 Cup (40 tbs)
  Cubed fully cooked ham 4 Ounce
  Canned pears 8 Ounce, drained and chopped (Halves Or Slices)
  Shredded cheddar cheese 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Slightly beaten egg 3
  Skim milk 1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)
  Ground nutmeg 1⁄8 Teaspoon
Directions

In an 8x8x2 inch baking dish layer bread, ham, chopped pears, and shredded cheese.
Combine eggs, milk, and nutmeg, and pour evenly into dish.
Cover and chill 4 to 24 hours.
Bake, uncovered, in a 325° oven about 45 minutes or till center is just set and top is golden.
Cool 10 minutes before cutting into squares.
Garnish with additional pear slices, if desired.
