Baked Spinach And Ham
|Grated nutmeg||1 Tablespoon|
|Canned asparagus||1 Pound (1 Can)|
|Smoked ham slice||6|
|Monterey jack cheese slice||6|
1. Clean and wash fresh spinach and parboil in lightly salted water. Drain well and place at the bottom of a greased ovenproof dish.
2. Season with grated nutmeg.
3. Pour off the liquid from 1 can asparagus and put the asparagus on the spinach. Place 6 slices of smoked ham on the asparagus. Cover the ham with cheese slices. Bake in a 450°F until the dish is light brown, about 10-15 minutes.
