Ham V Taters
|Cubed cooked ham/Smoked pork shoulder||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Milk||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
1. Pare and cut potatoes into 1/2 inch cubes. Pat dry.
2. Melt shortening in skillet. Add potato cubes; stir and fry until cubes are lightly browned, 5 to 10 minutes.
3. Add meat and milk; stir to blend.
4. Cover and cook slowly about 5 minutes. Uncover and continue cooking until all the milk is absorbed. Season as desired.
