|Halibut steaks||2 Pound|
|Tarragon vinegar||1 Tablespoon|
|Fine dry bread crumbs||1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)|
|Grated cheddar cheese||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Melted butter||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
Arrange halibut steaks in greased baking dish; sprin- kle with vinegar, salt, pepper, and basil.
Bake at 375 degrees for 20 minutes.
Remove from oven.
Com- bine bread crumbs and cheese; spread over steaks.
Sprinkle with melted butter.
Return to oven; bake for 10 minutes longer or until halibut flakes easily.
Place on heated serving platter; garnish with parsley.
