|Halibut||2 Pound, cut in one thick slice|
|Flour||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
Wipe the fish well, sprinkle liberally with salt and pepper and dredge with flour.
Place in a baking-dish or pie-dish, add the butter in small pieces and bake gently for about 1 hr.
Serve on a hot dish with the liquid from the fish strained and poured round.
