Busy Day Halibut
|Halibut/Other firm steaks / fillets||2 Pound (3/4 Inch Thick, Fresh Or Frozen)|
|Dry onion soup mix||2 Tablespoon|
|Dairy sour cream||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Fine dry bread crumbs||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Grated parmesan cheese||2 Tablespoon, grated|
|Chopped parsley||1 Tablespoon|
|Melted butter/Margarine / oil||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
Thaw fish if frozen; dry well.
Cut into 6 portions.
Combine soup mix and sour cream.
In separate bowl mix bread crumbs, cheese, parsley, and paprika.
Dip fish in sour cream mixture; roll in bread crumb mixture.
Place in single layer on well-greased shallow baking pan.
Pour butter or oil over fish.
Bake in 500Â°F oven 10 to 12 minutes, until fish flakes easily.
