Savory Baked Haddock
|Haddock fillets/Other fish fillets||2 Pound (Fresh Or Frozen)|
|Lemon juice||2 Teaspoon|
|Bacon slices||6 , chopped|
|Soft bread crumbs||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Chopped parsley||2 Tablespoon|
|Thinly sliced onion||3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)|
|Bacon fat||2 Tablespoon|
Thaw frozen fillets.
Skin fillets; place in single layer in greased baking dish, 12 x 8 x 2 inches.
Sprinkle with lemon juice and pepper.
Fry bacon until crisp; remove from fat.
Add to bread crumbs and parsley.
Cook onion in bacon fat until tender; spread over fish.
Sprinkle crumb mixture over onion.
Bake in 350Â°F oven 25 to 30 minutes, until fish flakes easily.
