Deep-Fried Haddock Fillets
|Haddock fillets||1 Pound|
|Flour||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Bread crumbs||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
Melt shortening in deep fat fryer at 370 degrees.
Season fillets with salt; roll in flour.
Beat egg with 1 tablespoon water.
Dip fillets into egg mixture; coat well with bread crumbs.
Fry in hot shortening until golden brown; drain well.
