|Haddock fillets||1 1⁄2 Pound|
|Saltine cracker crumbs||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Green pepper||1⁄2 , thinly sliced in rings|
|American cheese||4 Ounce, sliced|
|Milk||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
Alternate layers of haddock and 1/2 cup crumbs in buttered casserole; dot with butter.
Add salt, pepper, green pepper rings and cheese slices.
Sprinkle remain- ing crumbs on top.
Dot with additional butter; sprin- kle with additional salt and pepper.
Pour milk into casserole.
Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour.
