Baked Cheese Grits
|Water||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Instant grits||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Eggs||2 , beaten|
|Shredded cheddar cheese||4 Ounce|
|Milk||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Ground white pepper||1⁄4 Teaspoon|
In a 1 quart saucepan bring water to boiling.
Slowly stir in grits.
Gradually stir about 1 cup hot mixture into eggs.
Return to saucepan.
Remove from heat.
Stir cheese, milk, and pepper into grits.
Spoon into a 1 quart casserole.
Bake in a 350Â° oven about 50 minutes or till puffed and a knife inserted in center comes out clean.
