Baked Grits And Cheese
|Grits||1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)|
|Savory salt||3 Teaspoon|
|Hot sauce||1 Dash|
|Sharp cheese||1 Pound|
|Butter||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
"Stir grits gradually into 6 cups boiling water; cook until thickened.
Beat eggs until thickened; beat in seasonings.
Add small amount of hot grits to egg mixture, stirring constantly.
Stir egg mixture into remaining grits gradually; add cheese and butter.
Mix well; pour into greased casserole.
Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes.
