Grits Cornmeal Muffins
|Milk||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Cold cooked grits||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Melted shortening||1 Tablespoon|
|Baking powder||2 Teaspoon|
|Cornmeal||1 1⁄4 Cup (20 tbs)|
Mix the milk, egg and grits in a bowl until blended.
Add the shortening and remaining ingredients and mix well.
Place in well-greased muffin cups.
Bake at 425 degrees for about 25 minutes.
