Cheddar Grits

Ingredients
  Margarine/Butter 1 Tablespoon
  Sliced green onions and tops 2 Tablespoon
  Milk 2 Cup (32 tbs)
  Hominy quick grits 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs) (White Colored)
  Salt 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Pepper 1⁄8 Teaspoon
  Shredded cheddar cheese 2 Ounce (1/2 Cup)
Directions

1. Place margarine and onion in 3-quart casserole. Cover tightly and microwave on high 1 to 2 minutes or until margarine is bubbly.
2. Stir in milk, grits, salt and pepper. Cover tightly and microwave 7 to 8 minutes, stirring every 3 minutes, until mixture is thickened and liquid is absorbed. Stir in cheese.
