Garlic And Cheese Grits
|Cold water||480 Milliliter (2 Cup)|
|White corn grits/Yellow corn grits||120 Milliliter (1/2 Cup)|
|Sea salt||1 Teaspoon (5 Milliliter)|
|Sharp cheddar cheese||1⁄2 Pound, grated (230 Gram)|
|Butter||30 Milliliter (30 Milliliter)|
|Egg/Egg replace||1 , beaten|
|Tabasco/Cayenne||1⁄4 Teaspoon (1 Milliliter)|
|Paprika||1⁄4 Teaspoon (1 Milliliter)|
|Garlic/1/4 teaspoon garlic powder||1 Clove (5 gm), crushed|
In large saucepan, mix well the water, grits and salt.
Bring to simmer and cook until grits are very thick; remove from heat.
Oil 13x9-inch baking dish.
Stir together in saucepan the grits and remaining ingredients; pour into prepared dish and spread evenly.
Sprinkle top with additional paprika.
Bake for 30-35 minutes at 350°F(180°C).
