|Margarine stick||1 1⁄2|
|Grits||1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)|
|Sharp cheddar cheese||1 Pound, cubed or grated|
|Eggs||4 , well beaten|
Bring water, salt, and margarine to boil; add grits gradually.
Cook until thick, stirring constantly.
Add cheese; stir until melted.
Add eggs; stir rapidly.
Pour into buttered casserole.
Bake 1 hour in preheated 250 to 300°F oven.
