1. Wash chard; shake dry. Cut leaves from stems; cut leaves into 1-inch strips. Place steamer basket in a saucepan or skillet; add water till just below the basket. Bring water to boiling. Place chard in the steamer basket. Cover and steam about 5 minutes or till chard is just tender. Season with salt to taste; serve immediately.
