|Hearts of celery||3 Medium|
|Parmesan cheese||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), grated|
|Butter/Margarine||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs), melted|
|Heavy cream||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
Wash celery and cut off top branches and leaves.
Cut each heart in half lengthwise.
Add celery to boiling salted water to cover.
Reduce heat to low and cook for 20 minutes or until almost tender.
Drain and place in well-buttered, 9-inch square baking dish.
Sprinkle with the cheese.
Combine butter and cream, and pour it over the celery.
Bake, uncovered, in a 325° oven for 20 minutes, or until tender and golden.
