|Feta cheese slice||1 Pound, cut into 1/2 inch slice|
|Unsalted butter||3 Tablespoon|
|Fresh lemon juice||3 Tablespoon, strained|
|Freshly ground pepper||To Taste|
1) In a shallow fireproof dish, melt the butter.
2) Arrange the feta slices in layers in the dish with the melted butter and then use a little pepper to season them.
3) Over low heat, warm the dish till the cheese has softened and has started to bubble slightly.
4) Add the lemon juice to the bubbling cheese and serve at once, while the preparation is still very hot. Coarsely chopped celery leaves or uncurled parsley can be used as garish. It is important to serve the dish very hot because once it starts to cool, it loses much of its flavor.
