|Flour||4 Cup (64 tbs)|
|Icing sugar||2 Tablespoon|
|Baking powder||1 Teaspoon|
|Orange juice/Lemon juice||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Almond essence||1 Teaspoon|
Cream butter, sugar and juice.
Add essence (if used).
Sift flour and baking powder together and add to other ingredients, kneading in well.
The dough must be pliable, but soft.
Form into small rolls, then bend each into an 'S' shape.
Bake at 350° F for about 15-20 mins.
until just slightly coloured.
Remove from oven and roll in icing sugar.
Store in a tin sprinkled thickly with icing sugar.
