Greek Lamb Patties
|Lean lamb||1 1⁄2 Pound, finely ground (750 Gram)|
|Onion||1 Medium, minced|
|Pine nuts||1⁄4 Pound (125 Gram)|
|White wine||1 Tablespoon|
|Chopped mint||1 Teaspoon|
|Tomato slices||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Sour cream salad||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
In a bowl combine ground lamb, onion, pine nuts, nutmeg, salt and pepper and mix thoroughly, add a little water if mixture is too dry, then shape into 8 patties.
In ajar, mix oil, wine, mint, thyme, salt and pepper, cover and shake well.
Brush patties with this baste, place on the grid over hot coals and cook for 18-20 minutes, turning often and basting.
