Fresh Fruit Ambrosia

Ingredients
  Oranges 3 Large
  Fresh ripe pineapple 1
  Shredded coconut 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Sugar 3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)
  Salt 1 Dash
Directions

Peel oranges with a sharp knife, remove sections by cutting close to membrane.
Peel, core, and dice the pineapple.
Combine fruit with coconut, sugar, and salt; toss lightly.
Chill for several hours.
At serving time, spoon into a handsome bowl and decorate the top with additional orange sections and coconut.
A few maraschino cherries and sprigs of fresh mint may be used as trimming,
