Greek Beef Kebabs
|Olive oil||2 Tablespoon|
|Lemon juice||2 Tablespoon|
|Dried oregano||1⁄2 Teaspoon, crumbled|
|Black pepper||1⁄8 Teaspoon|
|Garlic||1 Clove (5 gm), peeled and minced|
|Flank steak/Skirt steak||1 1⁄2 Pound, cut into 1-inch cubes|
1. In a large bowl, combine the oil, lemon juice, oregano, salt, pepper, and garlic. Add the steak cubes to the mixture and marinate for 20 to 25 minutes at room temperature. About 5 minutes before you are ready to cook the kebabs, preheat the broiler.
2. Remove the steak from the marinade and thread it onto 4 skewers. Broil 4 inches from the heat for 3 minutes on each side, basting occasionally with the marinade.
