Kourabiedes With Brandy

Ingredients
  Sweet butter 2 Cup (32 tbs)
  Sifted flour 4 1⁄2 Cup (72 tbs)
  Whole cloves 1
  Egg yolk 1
  Brandy/Cognac 1 Tablespoon
  Confectioners sugar 1 Tablespoon
Directions

Cream butter until very light.
Gradually beat in sugar.
Beat in egg yolk and brandy.
Gradually blend in flour to make a soft dough.
With floured hands shape dough into 1 1/2 inch balls and stud each ball with 1 whole clove.
Place on baking sheets and bake in a 350 degree oven for 15 minutes.
Cool slightly and sift confectioners' sugar over cookies.
