Ingredients
  Butter 2 Tablespoon
  Flour 2 Tablespoon
  Milk 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Meat-extract paste 1 Teaspoon
  Hot water 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Salt To Taste
  Pepper To Taste
Directions

Melt butter or margarine in small saucepan; remove from heat.
Blend in flour; stir in milk and meat-extract paste dissolved in hot water.
Cook, stirring constantly, until mixture thickens and boils 1 minute; season to taste.
Serve hot.
