Basic Gravy

Use this gravy with any boiled vegetables.
Ingredients
  Tomato 1
  Onion 1
  Garlic 4 Clove (20 gm)
  Ginger 1 Inch
  Red chillies 4 , deseeded
  Curds 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Cashews 8 , broken
  Oil 2 Tablespoon
  Red chilli powder 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Dhania powder 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Turmeric powder 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Asafoetida 4 Pinch
  Garam masala 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Cinnamon powder 4 Pinch
  Salt To Taste
Directions

Grind all ingredients together except oil (use mixer if hand grinder not available).
Heat oil, add paste, stir fry till oil separates.
Add 1 cup water, bring to boil, simmer till thick.

Hi does anyone have the ingrediant list for nagpur style black garam masala? If so, would greatly appreciate a recipe. I'm also interested in finding out the basic differences between garam masalas (i.e. kolapur, jalgaon, nagpur, etc).
