Country Fried Steak And Cream Gravy

Ingredients
  Boneless round steak 2 1⁄2 Pound
  Salt 1 Teaspoon
  Pepper 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Garlic salt 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  All-purpose flour 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Milk 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Vegetable oil 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  All-purpose flour 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Milk 2 Cup (32 tbs)
  Salt 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Pepper 1⁄4 Teaspoon
Directions

GETTING READY
1. Start by pound steak to 1/4-inch thickness, follow by cutting into serving-size pieces

MAKING
2. Now sprinkle the steaks with 1 teaspoon salt, 1/2 teaspoon pepper, and garlic salt, then dredge steak in 1/2 cup flour, and dip in 1/2 cup milk, now come back to the flour, and dredge again
3. In a large skillet, pour hot oil and brown the steaks, once done remove the steak, and drain them on paper towel, and set it aside
4. Make sure that you pour off pan drippings, and reserve 3 tablespoons
5. Now add 1/4 cup flour to the drippings, and cook it over medium heat till bubbly, stir constantly
6. Now also add 2 cups milk, and cook until thickened, keep stirring constantly, later stir in 1/2 teaspoon saltand 1/4 teaspoon pepper
7. Finally add steak to the gravy,cook covered and simmer for 25 minutes, cook extra 5 minutes uncovered

SERVING
8. Serve with mashed potatoes, salads, fries, cooked egetables, a sauce of your choice, if desired
