Gravy Steaks

Ingredients
  Beef 1⁄2 Kilogram
  Vinegar 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Red chilies 5
  Garlic flakes 6
  Cumin seeds 1 Teaspoon
  Turmeric powder 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Onion 1 Large
  Ginger 1 Inch
  Green chilies 4
  Tomato 1 Large
  Sugar To Taste
  Salt To Taste
Directions

Grind onion, ginger, garlic, red chillies and cumin seeds to a paste.
Heat 4 tblsps oil and fry the ground paste nicely.
Add beef and fry till the moisture is absorbed.
Add the spices, sugar, salt and tomatoes.
Cover with hot water.
Put in vinegar and cook till the beef is tender and very little gravy is left.
Serve over boiled whole baby potatoes which should be fried golden.
