|Onion||1 Large, chopped|
|Sliced mushrooms||1 Pound|
|Water||4 Cup (64 tbs)|
|No oil salad dressing mix||1 Ounce (Preferably One With Garlic And Cheese, 1 Package)|
|Low-sodium soy sauce||2 Tablespoon|
Make a paste by stirring some of the cold water into the thickener until a creamy consistency is reached.
Saute" onion in water in a non-stick pan and add the mushrooms.
Stir until browned or beginning to cook.
Cover with remaining water; add the salad dressing mix and soy sauce.
When very hot, stir in the thickener.
Continue to stir until smooth.
Allow to boil lightly.
Remove from heat and cover.
