Mushroom Gravy

Ingredients
  Arrowroot 3 Tablespoon (Thickener)
  Onion 1 Large, chopped
  Sliced mushrooms 1 Pound
  Water 4 Cup (64 tbs)
  No oil salad dressing mix 1 Ounce (Preferably One With Garlic And Cheese, 1 Package)
  Low-sodium soy sauce 2 Tablespoon
Directions

Make a paste by stirring some of the cold water into the thickener until a creamy consistency is reached.
Saute" onion in water in a non-stick pan and add the mushrooms.
Stir until browned or beginning to cook.
Cover with remaining water; add the salad dressing mix and soy sauce.
When very hot, stir in the thickener.
Continue to stir until smooth.
Allow to boil lightly.
Remove from heat and cover.
