Madeira Mushroom Gravy
|Sliced fresh mushrooms||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Chopped green onion||1 Tablespoon|
|Canned beef gravy||10 1⁄4 Ounce (Franco-American, 1 Can)|
|Tomato paste||2 Tablespoon|
|Madeira wine||1 Tablespoon|
|Chopped fresh thyme leaves/1/2 teaspoon dried thyme leaves, crushed||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
1. In 1-quart microwave-safe casserole, combine butter, mushrooms and onion. Cover with lid; microwave on high 3 minutes or until mushrooms are tender, stirring once during cooking.
2. Stir in remaining ingredients. Cover; microwave on high 3 minutes or until hot and bubbling. Serve with beef or pork.
