Sun Dried Tomato Gravy
|Sun-dried tomatoes||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs), packed without oil (About 6 Pieces)|
|Boiling water||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|All purpose flour||2 1⁄2 Tablespoon|
|1% milk||1 1⁄4 Cup (20 tbs)|
|Meat loaf pan drippings/Beef broth||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Finely chopped green onions||1 Tablespoon|
|Dried basil||1⁄4 Teaspoon|
Combine tomatoes and boiling water in a bowl; cover and let stand 15 minutes or until softened.
Drain well, and finely chop; set aside.
Place flour in a small saucepan; gradually add milk, stirring with a wire whisk until blended.
Stir in tomatoes, pan drippings, and remaining ingredients.
Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly with a wire whisk, 10 minutes or until mixture is thickened.
