Heat large skillet over medium-high heat until hot.
Add butter; tilt skillet to coat bottom.
Add ham steak; cook 3 minutes.
Turn; cook 2 minutes longer or until lightly browned.
Remove ham to serving platter; set aside and keep warm.
Add coffee, sugar and pepper sauce to same skillet.
Bring to a boil over high heat; boil 2 to 3 minutes or until liquid is reduced to 1/4 cup liquid, scraping up any brown bits
