There is nothing better than a perfect crafted gravy to go along with the special meal you're planning. This gravy works best with turkey, but we won't object to drizzling some over some chicken or mashed potatoes!
1 Quart (hot)
3⁄4 Teaspoon, chopped
1⁄2 Pound (2 sticks)
Chopped yellow onions
3 Cup (48 tbs) (3-4 onions)
1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)
In a saute pan, melt butter and saute onions in it.
Stir well for about 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
Sprinkle flour and stir well.
Cook for 4-5 minutes and stir frequently.
Add chicken stock and whisk well for 5-6 minutes or until thickened.
