Broiled Grapefruit Halves

Ingredients
  Grapefruit 4 , halves
  Brown sugar/Honey 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs) (Firmly Packed)
  Butter/Margarine 4 Teaspoon
Directions

Prepare grapefruit as for serving raw, loosening flesh from inner white rind and segment membranes.
Sprinkle each half with 1 tablespoon sugar or honey and top with 1 teaspoon butter.
Place fruit-in pan 3—4 inches below preheated broiler.
Broil about 15 minutes until topping is completely melted, skin edges begin to brown and pulp is heated through.
Serve as hot appetizer in place of soup or as dessert.
